class=\"petitfute_reviews-content\"><p>With its 337 hectares, Central Park is New York's green bubble. Located in the upper part of the city, between 59th and 110th Street from south to north (4 km long) and from 5th Avenue to Central Park West from east to west, this park was created in the mid-19th century to allow New Yorkers to enjoy the joys of nature and relaxation. It took 20 years and more than 10 million cars of soil and rock to create this natural environment in the heart of the city. The park was not completed until 1876, creating a man-made landscape where marshes extended. The two landscape architects from Central Park, Frederick Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, dreamed of a democratic and rural space where everyone would contribute to the happiness of all. Their first shot made Central Park a much less chopped jungle than it is today. But the city required the architects to design a very square and precise park in the image of the city. Start your visit with The Dairy, the most complete tourist information office in the park where you will find all the possible activities, cultural and musical programs. It is located at 65th Street, in the middle of the park. In Central Park, if you can do anything, two activities still hold the top spot: relaxing and playing sports. For relaxation, huge lawns await you and you can take a nap in the shade of the trees. As soon as the first rays of summer sunshine appear, people come to Central Park to tan and everyone can show off their muscles they have been working on all week in the gym. We sit on the benches along the lake where we take a boat ride. We bring the picnic and spend the day with family or friends. Amateur baseball games are played on the large lawns at 72nd Street. On weekends, New Yorkers put away their costumes and suits and turn into sportsmen. Here, we jog around the tank, play soccer, frisbee, basketball, volleyball or baseball. We take a bike or rollerblade ride, newlyweds pose for the souvenir photo. Artists are everywhere, mimes, actors, musicians, painters, dancers... In summer, many cultural and musical programs are presented: the New York Philharmonic Orchestra gives free performances on certain evenings. Central Park's dangerous reputation is no longer relevant. Der Park liegt im oberen Teil der Stadt, zwischen 59th und 110th Street von Süden nach Norden (4 km lang) und von der 5th Avenue bis zum Central Park West von Osten nach Westen. Er wurde Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts angelegt, um den New Yorkern die Möglichkeit zu geben, die Freuden der Natur zu genießen und sich zu erholen. Es dauerte 20 Jahre und über 10 Millionen Waggons mit Erde und Felsen, um diese natürliche Umgebung im Herzen der Stadt zu schaffen. Der Park wurde erst 1876 fertiggestellt und errichtete eine von Menschenhand geordnete Landschaft, wo sich zuvor Sümpfe ausgebreitet hatten. Die beiden Landschaftsarchitekten des Central Parks, Frederick Olmsted und Calvert Vaux, träumten von einem demokratischen und ländlichen Raum, in dem jeder zum Glück aller beitragen sollte. Ihr erster Plan sah den Central Park als einen Dschungel vor, der weit weniger zerklüftet war als heute. Die Stadt zwang die Architekten jedoch, einen sehr quadratischen und präzisen Park zu entwerfen, der ein Abbild der Stadt darstellte. Beginnen Sie Ihren Besuch bei The Dairy, der umfassendsten Touristeninformation des Parks, in der Sie alle möglichen Aktivitäten sowie das Kultur- und Musikprogramm finden. Es befindet sich an der 65th Street in der Mitte des Parks. Im Central Park kann man zwar alles tun, aber zwei Aktivitäten stehen ganz oben auf der Liste: Entspannen und Sport treiben. Zum Entspannen gibt es riesige Rasenflächen, auf denen man im Schatten der Bäume eine Siesta halten kann. Sobald die ersten Strahlen der Sommersonne erscheinen, kommt man zum Sonnenbaden in den Central Park und jeder kann seine Muskeln zur Schau stellen, die er die ganze Woche über im Fitnessstudio trainiert hat. Man setzt sich auf die Bänke am See, wo man eine Bootsfahrt macht. Man bringt sein Picknick mit und verbringt den Tag mit der Familie oder mit Freunden. Auf den großen Rasenflächen auf Höhe der 72. Straße schaut man sich Amateur-Baseballspiele an. Am Wochenende packen die New Yorker ihre Anzüge und Kostüme in den Schrank und verwandeln sich in Sportler. Hier joggt man um den Stausee, spielt Fußball, Frisbee, Basketball, Volleyball oder Baseball. Man dreht eine Runde mit dem Fahrrad oder auf Inlineskates, frisch verheiratete Paare posieren für ein Erinnerungsfoto. Künstler sind überall: Pantomimen, Schauspieler, Musiker, Maler, Tänzer... Im Sommer werden zahlreiche kulturelle und musikalische Programme präsentiert: Unter anderem gibt das große Philharmonische Orchester von New York an bestimmten Abenden kostenlose Aufführungen. Der gefährliche Ruf des Central Parks ist nicht mehr aktuell.
